The YA drama has been cancelled after two seasons on the streaming platform.

The cancellation comes in the wake of the show’s second season release in October 2022, which didn’t muster a large enough audience to secure a third season renewal.

Could One of Us Is Lying Season 3 continue elsewhere? The series is reportedly being shopped to other outlets, though fans shouldn’t hold their breath on that front. We feel this cancellation will stick.

In other Peacock news, another one a bitten the dust. Vampire Academy won’t see the light of Season 2 after being axed just one season into its run.

The Renewal Follows a Gripping Season One Cliff-Hanger

· Peacock announced today the second season renewal of hit YA drama series ONE OF US IS LYING from UCP.

· Based on Karen M. McManus's #1 New York Times best-selling novel, ONE OF US IS LYING is the story of what happens when five high schoolers walk into detention and only four make it out alive. Everyone is a suspect, and everyone has something to hide.

· ONE OF US IS LYING launches Thursday, October 7 on Peacock. The 8-episode season will roll-out over the course of three weeks, with new episodes dropping in batches on Thursdays.

· Episodes 1-3 will drop Thursday, October 7, episodes 4-6 on Thursday, October 14, and episodes 7-8 on Thursday, October 21.
