Yellowstone Season 6 Cancelled – Paramount+ Sets Spinoff Series

The end is here for Yellowstone.

Paramount+ has cancelled the drama series after five seasons, opting not to renew for Season 6. The Kevin Costner-led series will end its run following the final episodes of Season 5, which are set to launch in November.

However, in something of a reprieve for Yellowstone fans, it will be followed by a sequel series which is set to premiere in December.

Chris McCarthy, President and CEO Showtime/MTV Entertainment Studios, commented on the cancellation:

“Yellowstone has been the cornerstone on which we have launched an entire universe of global hits – from 1883 to Tulsa King, and I am confident our Yellowstone sequel will be another big hit, thanks to the brilliant creative mind of Taylor Sheridan and our incredible casts who bring these shows to life”.

Yellowstone Season 5B is set to launch in November 2023, with the exact premiere date to be announced right here in the months ahead.
