Dec. 15, 2021 - Paramount+, the streaming service from ViacomCBS, today announced the renewal of its hit original anthology series WHY WOMEN KILL for a third season. Created by Marc Cherry ("Desperate Housewives," "Devious Maids"), the first two seasons of the dark comedy are currently available to stream exclusively on Paramount+.

The second season of WHY WOMEN KILL featured an all-star cast, including Allison Tolman, Lana Parrilla, B.K. Cannon, Jordane Christie, Matthew Daddario, Veronica Falcón and Nick Frost. Set in 1949, season two explored what it means to be beautiful, the hidden truth behind the facades people present to the world, the effects of being ignored and overlooked by society, and the lengths one woman will go in order to finally belong.
WHY WOMEN KILL is produced by CBS Studios and Imagine Television Studios. The dark comedy's 10-episode arc will be available to stream weekly on Thursdays, exclusively for Paramount+ subscribers. CBS All Access, CBS' digital subscription video on-demand and live streaming service, today announced a new original straight-to-series order for WHY WOMEN KILL, a darkly comedic drama created by Marc Cherry ("Desperate Housewives," "Devious Maids"). The series will be produced by Imagine Television Studios and CBS Television Studios. Creator Marc Cherry will serve as executive producer alongside Imagine's Brian Grazer ("Empire," "Genius") and Francie Calfo ("Empire," "Genius"), and Acme Productions' Michael Hanel and Mindy Schultheis.
WHY WOMEN KILL details the lives of three women living in three different decades: a housewife in the '60s, a socialite in the '80s and a lawyer in 2018, each dealing with infidelity in their marriages. The series will examine how the roles of women have changed, but how their reaction to betrayal... has not.
