This summer is sure to sizzle with the highly anticipated return of Tuca & Bertie on Sunday, July 10 at Midnight ET/PT on Adult Swim and the next day on HBO Max. Season three also makes its debut in Europe, Latin America, and Canada throughout July. The critically acclaimed animated series stars Tiffany Haddish (Tuca) and Ali Wong (Bertie) as colorful bird girl besties who navigate the ups and downs of adulting in life, love, and everything in between.
It's another confidently weird season of Tuca & Bertie, full of new emotional and vegetative growths! Tuca is dating someone new. Will this relationship bear fruit? Bertie has a new boss. Will they be sweet or salty? Speckle (Steven Yeun) is also going through some stuff!

In addition to Justina Machado, Matthew Rhys, Nico Santos and Janelle James, this season's voice guest stars will include Maria Bamford, Paget Brewster, Nicole Byer, Margaret Cho, Kether Donohue, Cole Escola, Victoria Moroles, Randall Park, and Paul F. Tompkins, among others.
Season two will be available for fans to catch up on HBO Max starting Friday, June 24. The beloved series continues to win over audiences with huge gains in teen viewers (ages 12-17) and young females (ages 18-24) coming to the network - up +47% and +38%, respectively. Episode premieres averages beat key late-night competitive set across most key demos. During its finale week, Tuca & Bertie won its timeslot versus all ad-supported cable with P/M18-34. The series also ranked best performing new Adult Swim series on YouTube in 2021.

Adult Swim announced today the pick-up of the popular animated series Tuca & Bertie by creator Lisa Hanawalt (BoJack Horseman). The network has greenlit a 10 episode second season for domestic release, with the option for more.
"I've been a fan of Adult Swim shows since my teens, so I'm thrilled to bring my beloved fowl to the party and be a new voice for a fresh decade of absurd, irreverent, yet heartwarming adult animation," said creator Lisa Hanawalt.
The animated series is a comedy about bird besties who live in the same apartment building: Tuca (Tiffany Haddish), a cocky, care-free toucan, Bertie (Ali Wong), an anxious, daydreaming song thrush, and Bertie's boyfriend, Speckle (Steven Yeun), a jovial, optimistic robin.
