It will be a while before we see the likes of Will Trent, 9-1-1, The Good Doctor, Grey's Anatomy and other shows expected to grace ABC's fall schedule. Strike action has pushed the network's scripted fare until midseason 2024. But that doesn't mean ABC doesn't have new seasons to watch this fall 2023 - unscripted reality shows have come to the rescue!

Cancelled ABC Shows not returning in the 2023-24 season

The following ABC shows have been cancelled and will not return this season. The ABC cancellations for the 2022-23 season are as follows:

Alaska Daily, Big Sky, The Company You Keep, The Final Straw, The Goldbergs, A Million Little Things. These shows will not return with new seasons for the 2023-24 season.

9-1-1 (revived after FOX cancellation), Abbott Elementary, American Idol, The Conners, The Good Doctor, The Great Christmas Light Fight, Grey's Anatomy, Judge Steve Harvey, Not Dead Yet, The Rookie, Station 19, Will Trent.

  1. thank goodness you renewed WILL TRENT. it’s one of the best tv shows i’ve seen in years. what about ALASKA DAILY? it was extremely viewable too.

  4. I loved Big Sky and so sad that it’s cancelled! There’s going to be nothing good on tv but reality shows and I can’t stand them!

  5. It’s really frustrating that all our shows we watch are either canceled or on hold due to this strike but yet we have to pay 💰 to watch reruns.
