πUnstable Season 3: Cancelled π
Netflix Cancels Unstable After Two Seasons π
Unstable has fallen off at Netflix. The comedy series starring Rob Lowe and his son, John Owen Lowe, has been cancelled after two seasons.
The news comes as no surprise given that Season 2, which premiered on August 1, failed to crack Netflix’s Top 10. This meant the series drew fewer than 1.4 million views in its opening weekend, leading to its axing. π
Unstable Numbers
Despite having the comedic charm of the Lowe duo, Unstable struggled to meet the high expectations set for Netflix originals. The show, which revolved around an eccentric biotech entrepreneur and his son, garnered attention initially but couldnβt hold enough viewership to survive Netflix’s performance metrics.
Unstable Season 3 Moving To FOX?
In light of the series’ poor performance, producers had already begun shopping Unstable to other networks, including FOX. However, no deal was reached. As it stands, that the show has reached the end of the road, joining the ever-growing list of Netflix series unable to secure future seasons.
What are your thoughts? Did you want Unstable Season 3, or are you at ease with the decision to axe the show?

Upcoming TV Premieres
We love watching Unstable. And anything with Rob Lowe in it. Too bad for him, thatβs the second show of his that has been cancelled this year.
Hoping at least another network will pick up 911 Lonestar.
