"Making the Cut" Reveals the 10 Designers Competing on Season Three of the Global Fashion-Competition Series Premiering August 19 on Prime Video

Hosts and executive producers Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn and judges Nicole Richie and Jeremy Scott are joined throughout the new season by an all-star roster of guest judges: pop superstars Chloe x Halle, A-List stylist Jason Bolden, and fashion TikToker and model Wisdom Kaye

CULVER CITY, California - June 28, 2022 - Making the Cut is making its grand return to Prime Video on August 19 in its most competitive season yet, as hosts and executive producers Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn search for the next great global fashion brand. Season Three of the fashion-competition series brings together a talented group of 10 designers from around the globe as they take their emerging brands to the next level and compete for the ultimate prize of $1 million and a mentorship with Amazon Fashion. The new season will drop two episodes each week, culminating in an epic finale on September 9, exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.

Judging their looks and business acumen are some of fashion's most exciting names: Actress and House of Harlow 1960 creative director Nicole Richie and fashion pop icon and Moschino creative director Jeremy Scott. Pop superstars Chloe x Halle, A-List stylist Jason Bolden, and fashion TikToker and model Wisdom Kaye all join as guest judges throughout the season.

In the instantly shoppable series, limited editions of the winning look from each episode will be available for purchase exclusively in Amazon Fashion's Making the Cut store. The winner of the series will receive $1 million to invest in their business and a mentorship with Amazon Fashion. The winner will also have an opportunity to create an exclusive co-brand with Amazon Fashion and launch their existing brands in the Amazon Fashion store. The upcoming season will include new exciting brand collaborations and expanded collections from each week's winning designers, giving fans and customers even more opportunities to shop the winning looks in Amazon Fashion's Making the Cut store. While fans await the return of the series on August 19, they can continue to shop the collections from the Season Two finalists, winner Andrea Pitter (Pantora) and runners-up Gary Graham (GaryGraham422) and Andrea Salazar (SETA).

The 10 designers competing for the opportunity of a lifetime are:

Ciara Chyanne Morgan (Watts, Los Angeles, California): Ciara Chyanne Morgan is a self-taught designer who took extended fashion courses at OTIS College of Art and Design, the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, Woodbury University, and has a degree in sales and marketing from HBCU Tuskegee University. With a passion for design, she has her own brand, Ciara Chyanne, that focuses on contemporary, elevated ready-to-wear, and she designs and consults for other companies. Ciara has been featured in Essence magazine, her designs have been worn by Elaine Welteroth and Liza Koshy on shows such as The Talk and Live! with Kelly and Ryan, and she was recently featured on The Tamron Hall Show's "Up & Coming Designer Series." Curtis Cassell (Brooklyn, New York): Founder and designer of the nonbinary label Queera, Curtis Cassell launched his brand in New York City circa 2020. He studied graphic design at Columbia College Chicago and graduated with a degree in interior architecture from The Illinois Institute of Art - Chicago. His love for architecture and old movies inspires his silhouettes, telling a story with each individual piece. His goal to expand from formal wear to everyday wear is motivated by his desire to reach all audiences of his community, challenge existing boundaries, and create fashion for all. Emily Bargeron (Savannah, Georgia): Emily Bargeron is a high-vibe entrepreneur and business owner from Savannah, Georgia. She spends her time designing for her free-spirited fashion label, Mamie Ruth, shopping for her award-winning vintage boutique, East + Up, and popping up at music festivals to spread happiness and good energy. Her colorful collections and "fest-dressed" designs make people feel good, which is why she has been voted Savannah's best fashion designer for six years in a row. Gabriella Meyer (Chicago, Illinois): LA-based artist Gabriella Meyer creates readymade and custom streetwear with a rarefied style through her brand DENIMCRATIC. Her commitment to recycled materials and novel denim techniques won her early acclaim as a designer. Today, DENIMCRATIC has expanded into knitwear and other mediums, continuing to focus on sustainable designs with a provocative perspective. Founded in 2017 at the University of Michigan, DENIMCRATIC pieces can be seen on many celebrities, including Bella Hadid, SZA, Camila Cabello, Hailey Bieber, Khalid, Alicia Keys, and Issa Rae, and have been featured in The New York Times, Vogue, and Marie Claire. Georgia Hardinge (London, England): Born in London, Georgia Hardinge's transient early life and international background gave her much opportunity to travel and develop her fascination with design. Training at Parsons Paris | The New School, Georgia won acclaim by receiving the best designer award for her graduate collection. After launching her namesake label in 2010, she began to build her identity as a sculptural designer. Her designs have been worn by some of the biggest names in the creative industry, including Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, Alicia Keys, Florence Welch, Kylie Minogue, and Grimes. The brand was recognized by the British Fashion Council when she was awarded BFC Contemporary and FASHION TRUST sponsorship for her unique work. Her signature style has been recognized by Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Marie Claire, and, most recently The Financial Times "How to Spend it." She has also been named to Grazia and Elle's "One to Watch" lists and as one of InStyle's "Names to know." Jeanette Limas (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania): Jeanette Limas was born in the Dominican Republic and began her education there at the Mercy Jacquez Institute, studying patternmaking. Later, she enrolled in the prestigious School for the Arts, Altos de Chavón. Upon graduation, Jeanette received the Young Designer of the Year Award, which allowed her to present her debut collection during Dominican Republic Fashion Week. She also won a scholarship to study at Parsons School of Design and relocated to New York City to pursue a higher education. In order to develop her already commanding technique, she studied drapery at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Jeanette is currently a full-time designer and has worked on the design team of Urban Zen by Donna Karan and Jolibe Atelier. Markantoine Lynch-Boisvert (Montreal, Canada): From Shawinigan, Quebec, to Montreal - with a quick pitstop in Los Angeles - Markantoine Lynch-Boisvert is the eclectic mind behind conceptual skatewear brand MRKNTN. With his mélange (pardon our French) of historical techniques, disparate cinematic references, and his distinctive youthful energy, Marky tells you a story that you can wear. Because having a brand is not enough, Markantoine shares his passion for creation as the cool teacher at your favorite fashion school in Montreal, LaSalle College. Rafael Chaouiche (Curitiba, Brazil): Rafael Chaouiche is a fashion designer with an eclectic personality, working to establish an exciting career in Brazil. He grew up in a small countryside town where his family pushed him to follow his dreams. He moved to Curitiba to study Fashion, but dropped out after his second year to pursue a career in the fashion industry. His eponymous brand, Chaouiche, is inspired by strong women, and his decidedly bold designs and mix of colors, fabrics, and sculptural cuts have catapulted his career in Brazil. Sienna Li (New York, New York): Born and raised in China, Sienna Li is a full-time fashion designer based in New York City. Her work has been featured in magazines and online editorials such as Vogue Italia, Harper's Bazaar, and L'OFFICIEL. With a master's degree in modern and contemporary literature from University of York, she studied fashion at Parsons School of Design. Yannik Zamboni (Zurich, Switzerland): Yannik Zamboni has a Bachelor of Arts in fashion design from University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland. He grew up in a small Swiss town with 700 people and has always stood out from the crowd. He was previously a model and then worked in marketing, but quit a well-paying job to pursue his creativity and dream of working in fashion. He is currently a full-time designer for his brand that he founded in September 2020, maison blanche, which pushes the conversation of various sociopolitical issues and addresses taboo topics by means of conceptual fashion. His brand's subversive content is reflected in deconstructed designs and aims to expand the rules of conduct. Yannik and his brand believe that sustainability is divided into four important spheres: ethical and moral, socio-political, ecological, and economical, which must all be respected and adhered to. CULVER CITY, California - April 13, 2022 - Making the Cut is once again on a mission to find the next great global fashion brand. Season Three of the fashion-competition series, hosted and executive produced by Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn, will return this summer on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide. Actress and House of Harlow 1960 creative director Nicole Richie and fashion pop icon and Moschino creative director Jeremy Scott will return as judges, with additional guest judges - who will be revealed at a later date - making appearances throughout the season.

Los Angeles' diverse fashion scene will continue to set the perfect backdrop for Making the Cut. Some of this season's runway locations include the iconic Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, the unique desert landscape of Vasquez Rocks, and a rooftop of one of Downtown LA's many skyscrapers, with sweeping views of the city skyline.

CULVER CITY, California--May 5, 2021--Amazon Original series Making the Cut, hosted and executive produced by fashion's favorite duo Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn, will premiere its second season on Amazon Prime Video on Friday, July 16, 2021. The eight-episode fashion competition series, which brings together a diverse group of 10 visionary designers and entrepreneurs, will drop two new episodes each week, culminating in a grand finale with an epic runway show on August 6, 2021.

Filmed in Los Angeles, Season Two showcases 10 designers from five different countries who compete in assignments that challenge not only their design skills but also their ability to run all facets of a fashion brand. Throughout the competition, designers who do not "make the cut" will be eliminated, with the winner crowned during the finale episode receiving the ultimate prize of $1 million to invest in their business, the opportunity to sell a collection in Amazon Fashion's store, and a mentorship with Amazon Fashion.

Judging their looks and business acumen are some of fashion's most exciting and fresh names, global supermodel Winnie Harlow and Moschino Creative Director Jeremy Scott, plus guest judges, including award-winning fashion designer and activist Prabal Gurung and costume designer and celebrity stylist Shiona Turini.

Limited editions of the winning look from each episode will be available for purchase immediately following each episode exclusively in Amazon Fashion's Making the Cut store. After most winning looks from Season One sold out in under two days, Season Two will offer increased availability of winning looks. Ally Ferguson (Los Angeles, California): Ally Ferguson has over 15 years of experience in the fashion industry, learning from iconic brands such as G Star Raw, Ed Hardy, and Field Scout, to name a few. In 2016, the Los Angeles native founded Seeker, a gender and age-inclusive, locally sourced, sustainable, organic hemp fashion label. Seeker was developed as an experiment after Ferguson was inspired by experiencing other cultures while traveling. Ferguson is enamored with the beauty of simplicity, which inspired Seeker's ethos to provide low-impact organic garments made in Los Angeles for all expeditions. Before devoting her time at Seeker, she founded Metta Agency, a full package design, development and manufacturing platform catering to niche celebrity clientele such as Tyler the Creator for his brand Golf Wang, YG for his label 4 Hunnid and Kim Kardashian's brand Kimoji. Andrea Pitter (Brooklyn, New York): Andrea Pitter is a force and inspiration in an industry that often lacks inclusivity and representation for the independent Black design entrepreneur. She is a proud fashion design graduate of the Fashion Institute & Technology, and for the past 10 years, has been on a mission to help transform engaged women into breathtaking brides with her stunning collections of bridal ensembles. Known for pairing signature classic silhouettes and modern details, her team has served thousands of brides and bridal parties since opening the New York City flagship of her label, Pantora Bridal. Andrea Salazar (Medellín, Colombia): Andrea Salazar is a Latin American fashion designer and founder of the world-renowned brand, SETA. Born and raised in Colombia, Andrea moved to England at 17, where she studied the English language and developed her passion for fashion. She then moved to Brazil, where she graduated with a Master's Degree in International Business. At 22, she moved back to Colombia, where she founded the fashion brand SETA with her sister Eliana. Later, Andrea moved to Miami to expand her booming business. SETA is now an international brand that has participated in New York and Paris Fashion Weeks and has been featured in Vogue, Elle Magazine and The Today Show. Andrea is known for creating statement pieces, inspired by the inner power every woman has, and the uniqueness, versatility and sophistication of her style is what makes her one of the most influential designers in Latin America. Dushyant Asthana (Jaipur, India): Dushyant is a multi-disciplinary artist and fashion designer, who showed extreme interest in fashion from an early age, designing his own clothing and often altering his father's garments from the 1960s and 1970s. Raised in a culture of vibrant colors, textiles and art in India, Dushyant's influences became the world around him that instilled a sense of propriety and respect for oneself and others, to be echoed in one's stylistic comportment. Effortlessly integrating unconventional accents from the East with classic Western stylistic principles, Dushyant designs clothing for a global audience. Gary Graham (Franklin, New York): Gary Graham is an artist who approaches fashion design as a material culture of elegance and decay. His work often combines historical narratives with fictional characters, blurring distinctions between past, present and future in mysterious and unexpected ways. For over 20 years, Graham worked in the fashion industry as his own label, Gary Graham. Known for his engineered jacquards, knitwear, intricate detailing, embroidery and his own signature prints, Graham's ready-to-wear collections have been featured in stores such as Barneys New York, Barneys Japan, Dover Street Market, If Boutique, Trois Pommes and boutiques across the globe. In 2009, he established his own boutique in Tribeca and was honored as a CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Finalist. Joshua Scacheri (London, England): Joshua Scacheri is a captivating multi-product menswear and womenswear designer with over 15 years of experience in the fashion industry. Born in Australia, Scacheri moved to Italy at the age of 16 where he became inspired to pursue a career in fashion after his football career. His first brand was established in 2006 in Australia, which fast became the go-to brand for menswear as a New Gen Designer. In 2012, Scacheri moved to London where he worked for some of the most iconic British Heritage brands in the luxury and retail market, learning from the best to understand how the business of fashion works and honing his craft of tailoring and design. His distinct collections have graced international catwalks and been featured in global publications such as GQ, Harper's Bazaar and Vogue, to name a few. Scacheri is passionate about sustainability and creates mood-boosting designs where color, print and texture bring clothes to life. Lendrell Martin (South Orange, New Jersey): Martin is a graduate of Drexel University's Fashion Design program and created his namesake line of ready to wear fashion for men & women in mixed media materials with an emphasis on jackets & outerwear. Lendrell has represented the United States in international design competitions, and has over a decade of industry experience working for fashion brands. With purpose as a core, mentoring young men of color for career exposure and advancement is important to him. While Lendrell dedicates time and resources to several organizations, the Obama Foundation has been one of many to recognize his community efforts. Lucie Brochard (Paris, France): Lucie Brochard is a Parisian designer who grew up at the crossroads of French, Vietnamese and Korean cultures. After graduating in 2007 from Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne school, she won a scholarship in 2008 to study menswear and photography at the Academy of Arts University in San Francisco. She learned from luxury houses including Chloe, Paule Ka and Chistian Lacroix. Brochard established her brand, LUCIE BROCHARD.võ, and organized her first two fashion shows during the 2015 and 2016 Paris Fashion Week. Brochard had the honor to present her trilogy collection at Seoul Fashion Week and has also presented at International Exhibition of Korean Fashion Arts - Musée des Arts Décoratifs, Paris. Olivia Oblanc (New Orleans, Louisiana): Olivia Oblanc attended Parsons The New School for Design. Three months after graduating in 2017, she launched her brand, ØBLANC, with the help from the dean of fashion. ØBLANC is a unisex clothing and accessories brand based in New York City that focuses on reinterpreting workwear functionality and blending with graphic branding. ØBLANC also specializes in sustainability by repurposing denim and recycling fabric waste. In 2018, Oblanc collaborated with Adidas Originals and Kendall Jenner on a collection that debuted at an event with an experiential presentation, film screenings and energetic DJ sets in London. Raf Swiader (Sosnowiec, Poland): Raf Swiader moved to New York at sixteen years old to pursue a career in fashion. After graduating from the Fashion Institute of Technology, he landed his first job on Seventh Avenue designing womenswear. He then spent eight years in Los Angeles working for a menswear brand. He threw the binary aside to launch R.Swiader, a gender-optional line inspired by the art, people, and culture he loves. It wasn't long before the energy of his adopted hometown called him back. In 2016, he opened his first boutique in downtown Manhattan, which has become a clubhouse-like space for his community to come together and share their vision for a future free of rules or judgement. Amazon Original series Making The Cut, reveals its first official look at the upcoming season, hosted and executive produced by Heidi Klum & Tim Gunn. The series will premiere on Prime Video on Friday March 27, 2020. Sander Bos, 24, Hasselt, Belgium: Featuring avant-garde inspired looks, Bos is a young designer who runs his namesake line. Raised in a small town in Belgium, he is a graduate of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp and is eager to make his mark on a global scale.

Rinat Brodach, 35, New York City: Brodach was a fan of fashion from an early age while growing up in in Israel and later came to the US to study design. Her eponymous line features a minimalist chic, gender-free aesthetic, reflecting her own straightforward personality. She recently dressed Billy Porter for the Critics' Choice Awards and her designs have also been worn by Laverne Cox and Adam Lambert.

Ji Won Choi, 26, New York City: The Parson graduate is a designer of elevated, active streetwear that she sells under her namesake brand and has collaborated with Adidas, with pieces worn by Beyoncé and Kendall Jenner. Born in Seoul, South Korea, raised in Oklahoma, and educated in New York City and Paris, her work is a reflection of how Choi sees herself in the world.

Jasmine Chong, 31, New York City: Born and raised in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Chong is the owner of her self-titled feminine ready-to-wear line, has previously shown at NYFW and her line has been featured in a number of fashion magazines. Inspired by her seamstress grandmother and her fashion designer mother, she is focused on creating beautiful clothing that appeals to all body types.

Jonny Cota, 35, Los Angeles, CA: The self-taught owner of the elevated streetwear brand Skingraft, Cota produces two men's and women's ready-to-wear collections yearly and has shown five times at New York Fashion Week. In addition, he has dressed celebrities including Nicki Minaj and Beyoncé.

The survivor of a near fatal car accident that taught her about strength and endurance, she is a relatively new designer who was inspired by artisans she met in Singapore.

Troy Hul Arnold, 34, New York City: An adjunct professor at Parsons, Hul Arnold was born in Trinidad and Tobago before coming to the US as a child. His brand, Hul Arnold, features minimalist, avant-garde menswear inspired looks for women; one of his designs was worn by Sarah Jessica Parker on Glee. Hul Arnold takes an artisanal approach to his fashion, and he refers to his pieces as functional sculptures.

Joshua Hupper, 38, Shanghai, China: Founder of BABYGHOST, a wildly successful e-commerce fashion brand based in China, Hupper's designs have been featured in Vogue and on runways around the world. His line features youthful, feminine ready-to-wear fashions for the "mischievous girl." Originally from Columbus, Ohio, Hupper's talents were shaped by his artistic upbringing and internships with Diane Von Furstenburg and Thakoon.

Esther Perbandt, 43, Berlin, Germany: Founder and namesake Esther Perbandt was born and bred in Berlin, toughened up in Moscow and polished in Paris. Owner of her eponymous line, which features edgy, menswear-inspired separates, Perbandt has created more than 30 collections over the brand's 15 year history and has been running her highly successful boutique in Berlin for ten years. As an artist, she has also collaborated on countless music, film and theatre projects.

Will Riddle, 31, New York City: Riddle's design skills, featuring a modern take on old glamour, have led to a series of impressive jobs, including Atelier Director at Oscar de la Renta, 3.1 Philip Lim, and now men's designer at Kith - a far journey from growing up in a trailer park in Ohio. With an impressive resume under his belt, Riddle is ready to start his own label.

Sabato Russo, 64, Milan, Italy: A seasoned designer with a 25-year career in the industry, Russo is owner of the brand Satorial Monk, which focuses on high end simplicity. A former model who is able to speak four languages, Russo has a global point of view that is reflected in his sophisticated, timeless looks. Russo is currently working on his "Made in Italy" line entitled Sabato Russo.

Megan Smith, 38, Los Angeles, CA: Born and raised in Kansas City, KS, Smith first discovered her love of fashion design while creating clothes for her Barbie dolls. After designing private label for several major bands and retailers, Smith branched out and launched her own line "Megan Renee." The response to her first runway show during Los Angeles Fashion Week was so overwhelming, she launched her online boutique to sell her collections to customers worldwide. Her line features feminine, 70's inspired cocktail attire.

Pasadena, Calif. -- January 14, 2020 -- Amazon Original series Making The Cut, hosted and executive produced by Heidi Klum & Tim Gunn, will premiere on Prime Video on Friday March 27, 2020. The 10-episode fashion competition series, which brings together a diverse group of 12 talented entrepreneurs and designers, will premiere two new episodes each week, culminating in an epic finale on April 24, 2020.

In this first-ever global and instantly shoppable series, limited editions of the winning look from each episode will be available for purchase exclusively on Amazon Fashion in the "Making the Cut" store. During the course of the season, those who do not "make the cut" will be eliminated, with the winning designer from the finale receiving one million dollars to invest in their brand and the opportunity to create an exclusive line available on Amazon Fashion.

The dozen designers featured on Making the Cut will visit three of the world's fashion capitals - New York, Paris, and Toyko - and face challenges and assignments that will test not only their design skills but also their ability to run all aspects of a business. Judging their looks and industry acumen are some of fashion's most recognizable and influential names, including Naomi Campbell, Nicole Richie, Joseph Altuzarra, Carine Roitfeld and Chiara Ferragni. The series is executive produced by Sara Rea, Page Feldman, Heidi Klum, Tim Gunn and Jennifer Love, directed by Ramy Romany and produced by Amazon Studios and SKR Productions.

The 12 Designers competing for an opportunity of a lifetime are:

Sander Bos, 24, Hasselt, Belgium: Featuring avant-garde inspired looks, Bos is a young designer who runs his namesake line. Raised in a small town in Belgium, he is a graduate of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp and is eager to make his mark on a global scale.

Rinat Brodach, 35, New York City: Brodach was a fan of fashion from an early age while growing up in in Israel and later came to the US to study design. Her eponymous line features a minimalist chic, gender-free aesthetic, reflecting her own straightforward personality. She recently dressed Billy Porter for the Critics' Choice Awards and her designs have also been worn by Laverne Cox and Adam Lambert.

Ji Won Choi, 26, New York City: The Parson graduate is a designer of elevated, active streetwear that she sells under her namesake brand and has collaborated with Adidas, with pieces worn by Beyoncé and Kendall Jenner. Born in Seoul, South Korea, raised in Oklahoma, and educated in New York City and Paris, her work is a reflection of how Choi sees herself in the world.

Jasmine Chong, 31, New York City: Born and raised in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Chong is the owner of her self-titled feminine ready-to-wear line, has previously shown at NYFW and her line has been featured in a number of fashion magazines. Inspired by her seamstress grandmother and her fashion designer mother, she is focused on creating beautiful clothing that appeals to all body types.

Jonny Cota, 35, Los Angeles, CA: The self-taught owner of the elevated streetwear brand Skingraft, Cota produces two men's and women's ready-to-wear collections yearly and has shown five times at New York Fashion Week. In addition, he has dressed celebrities including Nicki Minaj and Beyoncé.
