Alert: FOX has ordered two additional seasons of Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen, renewing the cooking competition show for Seasons 23 and 24. The renewal keeps the show safe through to the 2025-26 season.

FOX issued the following statement:

In the iconic decades-spanning series – and television’s longest-running food competition, reaching more than 350 episodes with today’s renewal – aspiring chefs from across the restaurant industry are put through an intense culinary academy to prove to Chef Ramsay they have the talent and tenacity to come out on top each week. Only those who can take the searing heat of Hell’s Kitchen will continue to compete each week, until one prevails as the winner. At stake is a life-changing grand prize, including claiming a chef position at one of Ramsay’s own renowned restaurants across the country, and the title of Hell’s Kitchen winner.

“As my very first show on FOX, Hell’s Kitchen holds a very special place in my heart and it’s incredibly gratifying to have it renewed for its 23rd and 24th seasons,” said Ramsay. “This show just keeps getting better and better, and with FOX, ITV and A. Smith & Co. as my partners, you can expect even bigger challenges, stronger talent and more intense competition in Hell’s Kitchen in the years to come.”

“Ever since Gordon Ramsay and Hell’s Kitchen premiered on FOX nearly two decades ago, they have been mainstays of American television,” said Wallach. “Hell’s Kitchen was our first series with Gordon, marking the launch of one of FOX’s most successful creative partnerships ever and an important cornerstone in what has become global television’s most powerful cooking brand.”

Hell’s Kitchen first premiered on FOX on May 30, 2005. Its Season 22 premiere last September delivered Hell’s Kitchen’s most-streamed season debut ever, propelling it to rank as Fall 2023’s #1 cooking show among Adults 18-49 and Total Viewers.

The 23rd and 24th seasons of Hell’s Kitchen will be produced at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut, where one of Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen restaurants is located.

18 aspiring chefs will brave Ramsay and his fiery command of the kitchen as he puts the competitors through an intense culinary academy to prove they possess the right combination of ingredients to win a life-changing grand prize. The chefs will have to raise their game if they want to prove to Ramsay that they have what it takes to win.

The chefs will leave the pleasantries at the door as the pressure to impress Chef Ramsay will reach a boiling point. The contestants must prove their ability to work in teams before Chef Ramsay determines which chefs are worthy of a black jacket. The rewards for winners of upcoming challenges will be luxurious and extravagant, while the punishments will be strenuous, dull and repetitive.

As the competition progresses, the number of contestants will be whittled down until only two chefs are left to compete for the ultimate prize, a Head Chef position at a Gordon Ramsay restaurant, and fulfill their dreams of working in the culinary industry as the winner of Hell's Kitchen
